世界最高クラスの極限強磁場を用いて、新規な量子現象・物性の探索及び解明を目指しています。そのために、非破壊パルスマグネットの開発からパルス磁場下での新たな測定手法の構築、強磁場物性測定まで幅広い研究を展開しています。
また、世界に類を見ない100-1000 Tのメガガウス領域におけるチャレンジングな物性研究にも積極的に取り組んでいます。

Our interest is to explore and elucidate novel quantum phenomena and physical properties using world-class ultrahigh magnetic fields. For this purpose, we have been developing non-destructive pulsed magnets and new measurement techniques under pulsed magnetic fields and also studying ultrahigh-magnetic-field science.
We are also working on challenging experiments in an unprecedented magnetic-field region (100-1000 T).
